Responsible for the development and implementation of test procedures in our manufacturing facility and contract manufacturers this role will provide a key link between operations and engineering.

Developing test procedures to ensure new products are thoroughly tested for reliability, life and environmental concerns, the job holder will drive root cause analysis and resolution of issues identified during test. You will work with the Engineering team to ensure fixes are rolled into design revisions and perform hands-on debugging of analog and digital circuits and hardware to complete high level diagnosis of failures at off-site labs as well as providing fault finding skills for the manufacturing shop floor.

The successful candidate will develop hardware and software tools and processes to enable testing and develop test requirements and procedures consistent with design requirements, providing final product test and instigating remedial work for non-conforming product.

Suitable applicants will have 5 years or more experience in a similar role, preferably within a network OEM or contract manufacturer.  You will need proven experience in designing and implementing test procedures and hands on debugging experience.  Ideally candidates will have working knowledge of Visual Basic and Labview test software, ICT, Boundary Scan, J-Tag, ORT, Burn-In and functional test.  A logical problem solver, you will have excellent communication and documentation skills.
