The Joint National Integration Center

The Joint National Integration Center (JNIC) is located at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado. The highly secure facility is used for military training exercises and simulations.

Two Matrix Plus systems are used - a Compact 72 in the Battle Management, Command, Control and Communications Center and a System 200 in the Wargames and Exercise Support Center. The Clear-Com system replaced an older custom system that "took days to re-configure." The ease of interfacing with the military's varied worldwide communications systems is highly regarded.

Two Micro Matrix systems are also used : one at an off-base control room and the other in road cases that are used for communications during remote training operations. ICS-2003 display stations are used throughout the installation, except for the traveling system which uses the ICS-1016.
