NASDAQ - American Stock Exchange (AMEX)
Every weekday about 100 live news reports are broadcast from the NASDAQ-AMEX Market Group facility in Manhattan's financial districtthe origin of the stock reports that are viewed throughout the world. To support all this broadcast activity, NASDAQ has built its own sophisticated broadcast studio.
Throughout the day, reporters do live and taped updates in front of NASDAQ's video wall. A broadcast technician controls several Vinten robotic cameras, covering up to four simultaneous updates.
Excellent communication is essential, and is handled by a Clear-Com MicroMatrix digital intercom system, interfaced with Clear-Com TEL-14 auto-nulling telephone interfaces and wireless IFB systems. Network producers continually phone in their instructions to reporters and on-site staff, and are routed via a Clear-Com AP-22 assignment panel.
"The Routing Capabilities of Matrix surpass everything I have ever seen."
