KUTV-CBS Installs Matrix Plus 3 System

KUTV-Channel 2's relocation is part of Salt Lake City's post-Olympic redevelopment boom. The station will be broadcasting from a new 35,000 sq. ft. building that comes complete with a rooftop heliport. Huge new studios are on the ground floor totally visible to the street through 3-inch thick windows—a virtual fishbowl where all phases of TV production are visible. A giant stadium screen of the TV feed is also positioned on the outside of the building. KUTV chose Clear-Com's Matrix Plus 3 System 200 frame to provide uninterupted, flawless communications to their new facilities.
