Vitec Group Communications Appoint New International
Sales Manager in Europe

News Release: May 1, 2006

Oscar Mezquita has joined Vitec Group Communications as International Sales Manager for Northern & Western Europe where he will focus on major broadcast project sales for the Clear-Com¨ intercom solutions range. He will support Vitec Group Communications’ highly successful team in the pan European region, working from his current base in Berlin.

His appointment is effective from 1 May 2006.

Oscar has risen quickly through the ranks of international sales and management in the intercoms and broadcast industry since first joining Telecom Italia Labs in Turin, Italy as a researcher in 1999.

He was previously ISM with Riedel Communications in Berlin, before moving to Siemens in 2005 where he covered primarily South America, also Spain and Italy.

Oscar combines his technical skills, including a Masters Degree thesis on mobile communications, with his impressive multi-lingual skills, speaking five major European languages fluently.

When not learning another language, Oscar, who is married, enjoys travelling, playing soccer and painting & drawing.
