Installing CentOS from CDs

FIRST: Download the CentOS O/S from the site: http://isoredirect.centos.org/centos/5/isos/i386/. Note: This step may take 1-2 hours depending on your Internet connection.

A. Select the mirror site from where you want to download the files.

B. If you will install from a CD, download the following files where X.Y is the version of CentOS and Z is the number of files:
        CentOS-X.Y-i386-bin-1ofZ.iso
        CentOS-X.Y-i386-bin-2ofZ.iso
        CentOS-X.Y-i386-bin-3ofZ.iso
        ..........
        ..........
        CentOS-X.Y-i386-bin-ZofZ.iso

C. Create an installation CD (bootable) with each of these files using a CD burner.

D. Install CentOS on a dedicated server using manual CentOS installation instructions in the Clear-Com Concert Server Installation Manual

E. Continue the installation from part 2 of the guide.
