The E-IPA-HX card is a high-capacity multi-protocol card:

-
E1 connections (when in E1 mode, the card no longer works with IP).
It provides up to 64 connections. In IP mode, these can be made up of a combination of up to 64
IP ports or FreeSpeak II wireless beltpack connections (according to license). In E1 mode you
can have up to 10 FSII transceivers, and 50 beltpacks.
In IP mode, the card offers:
-
IVC functionality and AES67 connectivity for Clear-Com FreeSpeak II IP Transceivers (IPTs) and V-Series panels.
-
It also provides SMPTE 2110 connectivity.
IVC-32 functionality (V-series panels, Directs, LQ, and Agent-IC) runs at the same time as FSII beltpacks.
Note: | You must have a 32 port license on your E-IPA card in order to put it into E1 mode. |
Note: | FSII Splitter daisy-chaining is not available when using E1 with an E-IPA card. The connection between matrix and splitter must be Fiber. |
The E-IPA-HX card requires EHX software 10.0 and above.
Note: | The configuration of IP addresses when using the E-IPA card is important. See Adding an E-IPA-HX Card (Automatic Discovery). |
