IP Rating (Protection Marking)

The Edge transceiver has a rating of IP 53. It can be mounted outside and will be resistant to weather conditions and also water spray.

To ensure that the device cooling mechanism works optimally, and to achieve the IP rating, the FreeSpeak Edge transceiver must be fixed in an upright position.
