Save and Restore
You can save the LQ device configuration to a file in order to keep a backup copy of your setup or to configure a stand-by LQ device.
Save and restore is achieved from either the CCM or the front panel menu systems.
Note: | Settings cannot be restored from different models of LQ. For example, you cannot restore a file from an LQ-R2W4 1RU to an LQ-4W2 throw-down unit. |
Note: | If restoring an LQ unit with SIP accounts or Agent-IC connections, the unit must have sufficient licenses (SIP and Agent-IC). |
When restoring from the CCM you have an option to restore the network settings. Network settings are always restored when restoring using the front panel menu system.
Network settings in this case include:
When working with a Link-Group you must:
-
Save and restore Link-Group settings on each device
-
When restoring settings, you must restore Link-Master settings first (before restoring the Link-Members)
