Clear-Com Showcases Latest Communications and Connectivity Solutions at CABSAT 2016

3/5/2016

Clear-Com® will bring its latest intercom and connectivity solutions to Stand ZE2-10 at CABSAT 2016. Highlights on the stand will include the newly-shipping HelixNet 3.0 digital network partyline system and DX410 wireless intercom system, the Agent-IC mobile app, and the ProGrid fibre-based signal transport solution.

HelixNet 3.0, a software-only update to the acclaimed HelixNet digital network partyline platform, unlocks the overall capacity of the HelixNet system allowing it a six-fold expansion for supporting more communication channels during live productions. Each HMS-4X main station comes standard with up to 12 audio channels, and an additional 12 channels can be added simply by purchasing a licence, effectively enabling a single HMS-4X to provide a total of 24 channels. Any combination of main stations and remote stations (up to a total of 6) may be stacked in order to have one headset and microphone used to address all channels.

The all-new, 2.4GHz DX410 wireless intercom system delivers two communication channels that feature 7kHz wideband audio for exceptional audio clarity. Easy to set up and configure, DX410 introduces a lighter weight yet durable beltpack and all-in-one wireless headsets. With an upgraded radio and lost packet concealment capability, the DX410 is the best value for quality performance, range and sound.

Clear-Com will also demo the Agent-IC mobile intercom app at CABSAT. The app runs on iOS smartphones and tablet devices to enable remote crew members to communicate with any user on the host Eclipse HX digital matrix system from virtually any place where an IP network is available. Agent-IC is a fully featured app with point to point calling, point to multi-point group calling, partyline, etc. Users can access pages of 6 keys on phone devices and up to 15 on tablets. The app is managed within the Eclipse HX Configuration Software (EHX).

Moreover, Clear-Com is showing its fibre-based ProGrid and the MUX-22-CC devices carry, route and distribute intercom, audio (digital and analogue), video signals and control data at extremely low latency and with synchronous data transmission and redundancy. Based on the open AES3 and AES10 (MADI) standards, ProGrid is modular and scalable—an ideal solution for fixed and portable applications.

Visitors to CABSAT 2016 can also see the award-winning FreeSpeak II wireless intercom system and a range of other Clear-Com systems on NMK Middle East’s stand ZG2-50, near the Clear-Com stand.

“We’re pleased to bring a wide range of the latest Clear-Com communication and connectivity products to CABSAT 2016,” said Samer Mouwanes, Regional Sales & Business Development Manager of Middle East, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus, at Clear-Com. “Our robust solutions, whether wired or wireless, are designed for installations that are in need of reliable, flexible, and efficient communications.”
