Clear-Com to Present Voice Communications Solutions for Security and Defense at DSEI 2023

6/29/2023

Clear-Com® will exhibit at the DSEI 2023 show at Stand H8-359 from September 12-15, 2023 in London, showcasing key voice communication technologies for security and defense applications including command and control centers, unmanned systems, and Internal Communications Systems (ICS) across land, air and sea. From sophisticated IP-based matrix systems that can be connected around the globe to rugged analog user stations, Clear-Com offers the most comprehensive suite of voice communications solutions allowing integration of disparate communications systems into an integrated voice terminal for this market.

DSEI brings together governments, national armed forces, industry thought leaders and everyone involved in the related supply chains for aerospace, land, naval, security, and joint security and defense sectors. Clear-Com is a longtime manufacturer of mission-critical voice communications systems for the military, aerospace and government marketplaces where secure, reliable, low latency comms are absolutely crucial for successful operations.

Products available for demonstration will include the Trilogy Mercury Interface Unit (MIU) and the award-winning Arcadia® Central Station integrated with FreeSpeak® Digital Wireless, HelixNet® Digital Partyline, and Clear-Com Encore® Analog Partyline system. Additionally, Clear-Com offers a broad range of IP-based user panel options and will highlight their new dual-action lever 20-key 2X10 Touch panel, as well as the 32-key V-Series Iris panel at the show.

The Trilogy MIU is a 2RU multi-purpose device that provides multi-channel interfacing with radios, conventional and VoIP (SIP) telephony, balanced and unbalanced audio interfacing, and other capabilities over terrestrial and/or satellite IP networks. With support for up to 64 simultaneous IP audio channels, the MIU is capable of either standalone operation or part of a peer-to-peer distributed network of other Mercury devices, supporting low-latency, HD audio and signaling and a virtually unlimited number of users. The MIU acts as a versatile audio processing unit and IP gateway, most often used in ground control stations, cross-domain solutions, radio interfacing and bridging, and test and evaluation scenarios.

Arcadia Central Station brings together HelixNet hard panels, FreeSpeak digital wireless systems, Clear-Com Encore, other 2W/4W endpoints, and third-party digital audio (Dante) devices in a single, compact 1RU system. Arcadia offers license-based scalability, with support for over 100 beltpacks and up to 128 IP ports. The de facto standard for wireless intercom operation, FreeSpeak Wireless features exceptional RF performance and reliable operation in multiple worldwide license-free frequency bands. Integrating FreeSpeak II® digital wireless with the MIU system can effectively expand the system across more users in large-scale operations, while FreeSpeak Edge® offers AES 256-bit encryption, ideally suited for applications requiring various levels of communication security. Arcadia’s “all-in-one” power makes it an attractive solution for space and aerospace applications, unmanned systems, command and control centers, and simulation and training environments.

“When dealing with the need for sensitive mission-critical communications, it is important to meet customers face-to-face,” said Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Chris Willis. “We look forward to this show as an opportunity to discuss technology needs with the customers in the security and defense market, and to showcase the diverse set of solutions we offer.”
