Clear-Com to Showcase New Intercom Updates at AES and NAB New York Shows

9/12/2023

Clear-Com® will exhibit at the AES convention in New York this October 25-27 at Booth #931 on an exhibition floor shared with the NAB New York show. The company will demonstrate intercom solutions for both broadcast and live markets; notably, this will be the U.S. debut of the latest update to the award-winning Arcadia® Central Station that includes IP interface connectivity and a capacity increase of up to 285 connections, including up to 64 FreeSpeak beltpacks. Also highlighted will be innovative features of their flagship  Eclipse® HX Digital Matrix Intercom System, including Dynam-EC™ real-time production software, industry-leading role-based workflows, and the new 2X10 Touch™ desktop touchscreen panel.

The latest update to Arcadia introduces I.V. Direct, an IP interfacing feature that connects Arcadia and the LQ® Series of IP Interfaces, Eclipse (via E-IPA card), and other Arcadia systems over LAN, WAN, or Internet. The update will also provide a substantial increase in capacity for FreeSpeak® beltpacks, transceivers, and HelixNet® endpoints, making Arcadia the most powerful 1RU intercom device on the market with support for 285 input/output connections on a single system. Also available for demonstration will be the HXII-DPL Powerline device, an IP interface that delivers power and digital audio from Arcadia to HelixNet® Digital Network systems.

Today’s demanding production workflows require tremendous flexibility, efficiency, and agility. Dynam-EC is a powerful and intuitive software tool that allows operators to quickly switch all audio input and outputs, audio mapping, IFBs, and partylines at the touch of a button. Clear-Com’s virtual clients, the Agent-IC mobile app and Station-IC desktop app, have established themselves as some of the most reliable tools for remote and hybrid productions. New features introduced in EHX 13.1, including the implementation of role-based workflows and support for NMOS 4 and 5, facilitate many of the needs of broadcast applications for large-scale events such as the World Cup or other global sporting events.

While Clear-Com will officially exhibit on the AES roster, the company invites guests of the NAB show to visit their booth as well. “We look forward to this opportunity to meet with our contacts in both the broadcast and live events markets,” says Michael Rucker, Director of Sales for North and South America. “We pride ourselves on offering a solution for almost any application.”
