Why Choose Eclipse HX?

Robust, Modular & Redundant Architecture

Eclipse HX Matrix Intercom Systems deliver a scalable, modular, and redundant architecture engineered for real-world reliability. Designed as an elegant, self-contained ecosystem, it operates without the clutter of external adapters, simplifying installation. This purpose-built approach ensures resilient performance, allowing users to deploy systems "right-sized" for their infrastructure while maintaining the flexibility to expand as requirements evolve.

Unified Configuration & Live Management

The core EHX Configuration Software unifies setup, management, and health monitoring for reliable operation. For dynamic environments, optional Dynam-EC Live Assignment software empowers operators with live assignment capabilities. This enables real-time drag-and-drop routing, level adjustments, macro triggering, and undos, allowing the system to adapt instantly to immediate operational needs.

Local & Global Connectivity with Intelligent Linking

Eclipse HX delivers effortless interfacing across all scales, locally supporting Analog, Dante, MADI, AES67, SMPTE 2110, and Clear-Com’s LQ Series. For wide-area operations, native SIP telephony and Instant Voice technology provide robust global internet connectivity. Unifying these is Intelligent Linking, a self-managed mesh trunking capability that automatically routes audio through any available circuit type, ensuring resilient communication between Eclipse HX systems.

Logic Capability & Seamless API Integration

Eclipse HX blends internal automation with external connectivity. Internally, the Logic Maestro tool within EHX simplifies complex logic design using graphical workflows rather than scripts. Externally, extensive GPIO and the optional Host Control Interface (HCI) API enable seamless third-party integration. This grants external systems command over operations, including allowing specific user station keys to be used by 3rd party control systems.

User-Centric Roles & Versatile User Stations

Eclipse HX adapts to any workflow with diverse User Stations, including V-Series IrisX keypanels, FreeSpeak wireless beltpacks, and Agent-IC or Station-IC virtual clients. Utilizing User-Centric Roles, configuration is decoupled from physical ports, allowing devices to be dynamically configured based on the user or task rather than fixed hardware locations.

Continuous Evolution & Future-Proofing

Eclipse HX constantly evolves to meet changing operational demands. Recent enhancements include native SIP Client capability on the E-IPA card without additional hardware and providing support for the FreeSpeak Icon wireless beltpack. Furthermore, the addition of SMPTE 2022-7 provides seamless network redundancy, ensuring critical audio streams remain uninterrupted even during network failures, reinforcing the system's commitment to mission-critical reliability.

Compact and Capable

The Eclipse HX Delta Lite constructs smaller intercom systems while retaining the full configuration power of EHX configuration software. Delta Lite includes 16 or 32 simple plug-and-go analog ports, supporting V-Series IrisX keypanels, Eclipse Interface Modules, or generic line level audio interfaces. The second Interface Card slot provides optional versatility, accepting E-IPA, E-DANTE, or E-MADI cards for FreeSpeak Wireless, networked, or digital audio interfacing. Delta Lite allows for a field upgrade to the higher capacity Delta as needs grow.

Local and Global Intercom with a Wide Range of User Stations

The fully integrated, redundant, and modular Eclipse HX system provides tailored connectivity. A wide range of user stations—including V-Series IrisX keypanel, FreeSpeak wireless beltpacks, Agent-IC, and Station-IC virtual clients—tailors communication to any environment. Local communication uses high-performance networks, while global communication is highly resilient via Clear-Com’s Instant Voice protocol. Third-party interfacing is achieved using E-IPA, E-DANTE, and E-MADI cards, supporting standards like AES67, Dante, MADI, and SIP telephony. All are managed via EHX configuration and optional Dynam-EC, alongside GPIO and HCI API for external control.

Redundancy and Roles

Eclipse HX systems feature multiple levels of redundancy for maximum reliability with fully automated and unattended failover. The frames include redundant system controllers, backplanes, and power supplies. E-IPA Interface Cards allow N+1 backup or mirroring of specified cards. All E-IPA, E-DANTE, and E-MADI cards feature redundant audio ports. Furthermore, virtualized Role configuration facilitates configuration redundancy, allowing user station configurations to be picked up anywhere in the system regardless of where it is connected.

Intelligent Linking for Expansion

Larger Eclipse HX systems can be constructed with multiple frames using the most appropriate audio interface. Eclipse Intelligent Linking operates without a central controller. Using self-managed mesh trunking, the system automatically discovers resources and determines the optimal audio path throughout the systems. This process ensures reliable, decentralized communication across the entire expanded system.
