Arcadia R4 - Rental System
7/23/2025
Large A/V Rental Houses will have an extensive amount of intercom equipment to customize systems for their customers. The customer will outline the production they are managing and the Rental House will generate a system to match. The latest firmware release for the Arcadia Central Station now adds greater port capacity, port usage flexibility, and a key feature in the addition of V-Series IrisX panels. Panels have a high capacity of talk paths giving Stage Managers, Technical Directors, Video Directors and anyone who needs to talk to a large number of individuals or groups the ability to do so. This gives the Rental House incredible device breadth all of a single 1RU Arcadia Central Station.
How it Works
The system in this diagram relies heavily on a local audio network with managed switches with GB speeds. The switches are strategically place throughout the facility to provide devices network access back to the Arcadia System. FreeSpeak IP transceivers are placed where wireless coverage is needed and HelixNet beltpacks are placed at stationary positions. Directors and Managers receive IrisX panels at their positions and access to the external internet can even be created in scenarios where remote workers can provide support needed at the local production.
