Large campuses often support multiple sports venues and broadcast facilities that require reliable communication across geographically dispersed locations. This application demonstrates how Clear-Com enables a unified communications workflow across stadiums, arenas, and remote productions through a scalable IP-based communications network. By connecting multiple venues to a centralized communications hub, production teams can coordinate seamlessly across campus while maintaining flexibility for remote and mobile broadcasting operations.
How it Works
A central broadcast control room, powered by an Avalon IP Station*, serves as the communications hub, connecting V-Series IrisX keypnaels, FreeSpeak II wireless systems, and Dante-enabled resources throughout the network. Multiple venues, including football stadiums, basketball arenas, and other athletic facilities, are connected over LAN, WAN, or internet infrastructure, enabling real-time coordination between production teams.
FreeSpeak II and FreeSpeak Icon beltpacks provide reliable wireless communications for on-site crew members across each venue. For remote productions and mobile broadcasting, an Arcadia Central Station is deployed as a fly kit and connected back to the Avalon system via I.V. Direct over IP. Together, these create a flexible, campus-wide communication system that supports live sports productions, event coordination, and broadcast workflows across multiple locations.
